This home is smack in the middle of centro! From here you can walk anywhere in San Miguel for great restaurants, market colors and smells, and all the sights. Walk in off of the narrow street into what seems an old home, and you’ll enter the startlingly modern and light casita.
Decorated in a modern style, this one-bedroom casita is fully equipped and has everything a visitor needs from wifi and cable TV to A/C and the comforts of home. An open floor plan on the first floor, guests enjoy a kitchen, dining area and living room looking out on a green garden toward the main house of the property. Climb the stairs and you’ll find your king bedroom, office nook, spacious bathroom, and ample balcony with comfy seating. Garden and tree-top views tuck you in, and the double glazed windows and doors will provide you with peace in the heart of centro.
Imagine cobblestone streets, colonial architecture, local markets, spring-like temperatures most of the year, colorful street scenes.... San Miguel is a paradise and easily explored from our home. We are smack in the center of town on a narrow, one-way street. Our neighborhood is safe and well-lit at night. Easy day trips include exploring the towns/cities of Guanajuato, Dolores Hidalgo or Queretaro, and closer are opportunities for horseback riding or biking in the campo and swimming at the hot springs. If you're a foodie, you'll be pleasantly surprised with the variety of Mexican and international cuisine. Concerts, performances, and local festivals abound.
